The spirit of the wine

Who is this wine for?

The bottles in the Via Marchizului collection are tribute wines for the Marquis Piero Antinori, so every year there is this challenge of creating a wine that is worthy of the owner’s appreciation.

Via Marchizului means sustainability and is a sign of quality, and the bottles bearing this label are created in limited quantities, for those who know how to appreciate the meticulousness that leads to perfection.

Choose Pinot Noir

If you appreciate discreet elegance and think that something does not need to be ostentatious to be appreciated. When you are looking for a light red wine, suitable even in the warm season.

Order a Pinot Noir when you want a wine in which the flavor of ripe fruit is doubled by a feeling of softness in taste and a touch of mystery in the end: vanilla or pepper?

Winemaker's Intention

In Dealu Mare, Pinot Noir is a challenge that the oenologist has taken on. Hot summers lead to an alcoholic concentration that must be masterfully controlled in order for the wine to remain balanced. We wanted a fruity wine, with aromas of black cherries, sour cherries, blackcurrants and which fades discreetly in aromas of spices and toast, coming from oak barrels.

Pairings

Culinare

The delicate Pinot Noir tannins go well with fine meat, such as a lightly caramelized duck breast in a frying pan, which retains its juiciness. Wine is also a good companion for soft cheeses, such as a matuerd or semi-hard Camembert, such as Gruyère.

For vegetarians, we recommend a risotto with mushrooms, preferably mushrooms, sprinkled with a little truffle oil for extra flavor.

Culturale

Via Marchizului – Pinot Noir A wine that we recommend you open when you read Short history for a long breakup by Peter Handke – Few recommendations are more important than the Nobel Prize for literature, we believe. The book follows the story of a young Austrian who arrived in the USA after a personal deception. It’s a story about traveling from one place to another, a letter about American landscapes and culture. The delicacy of Pinot noir is suitable to discreetly accompany the protagonist’s feelings.
